Sleep Country/Dormez-Vous is Canada's leading omnichannel mattress and bedding retailer with a rapidly growing eCommerce platform. Working as a Web Designer my goal is to create great user experiences for its online customers, through the creation of brand pages for retail partners, specialty pages such as gift guides and a constant improvement and evolution of the UI/UX across the site.
By leveraging analytics, market research and customer insights, I work on creating new features that drive a better experience on the site. Features such as seasonal gift shops, and the design of a product carousel that provide customers an opportunity to explore promotions and relevant items, while giving the company a way to increase user engagement. I work across the whole process, starting with research, to wireframing and prototyping, all the way to high-fidelity mockups and a live production.
Data driven design and improvements are key to providing customers the best site experience. Improvements such as readjusting the navigation to help users find relevant categories more intuitively. Using data such as heatmaps, user flows and more, and then establishing and implementing a new navigation to respond to our users needs and resolve issues that hinder the site experience.
